The beautiful and romantic Isle of Skye is always a popular destination when visiting the west coast of Scotland. It has a varied and dramatic landscape full of legend, folklore and fairies! I had great fun putting together this map, not just of Skye itself of course, but the small isles of Rum, Canna and Eigg, and the rugged coastline of Knoydart and Lochalsh. So many wonderful places, and you can see why with that coastline that the sea was the main highway for vikings and the Lords of the Isles.<\/p>
